How do I make an appointment?

Clinicians schedule their own appointments. You may contact any individual practitioner or the Center by calling (734) 995-5181 or by using the Contact Us page.

The Center is not set up to provide urgent care. In case of emergency situations, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room. The National Suicide Hotline (1-800-273-8255) is staffed 24/7.

What are the fees for service?

Clinicians have their own procedures regarding fees, payments, insurance coverage, and charges for canceled appointments. Questions about fees, etc. can be answered during the initial phone call for scheduling.

Do you provide substance abuse counseling?

Substance abuse issues present in many different ways. You and your clinician can talk together about whether they can be addressed in your treatment.   If substance abuse treatment is the primary focus of therapy, Dr. Paul Estenson is a specialist in this area. He has thirty years experience  and working with substance abusers and their families is a significant part of his practice.

How do I find out what my insurance will cover?

Each insurance policy has different benefits and requirements regarding pre-authorization for services, number of sessions covered, deductibles, co-payments, and in-network vs. out-of-network providers. How can I find a clinician who takes my insurance?

Some clinicians don’t accept insurance and other practitioners participate with a variety of insurance panels. Coverage varies widely by insurance provider, by the state or federal entity issuing the policy, and by contract. Please contact your insurance policy’s customer service line or website to verify whether your contract covers the professional you would like to see.
