Neuropsychological Testing
Neuropsychological assessments can help you, your medical providers, and/or your school understand how the different areas of your brain are working.
Testing helps to better understand your specific situation and can help with differential diagnosis, treatment and school planning, and provide specific recommendations for how to best utilize your strengths moving forward.
When conducting neuropsychological evaluations, your psychologist takes into account multiple factors including your medical history, symptoms, and test results.
Common Concerns
- ADHD
- Learning disabilities or differences
- Gifted testing
- Determining reason(s) for academic under achievment
What is assessed?
A typical neuropychological evaluation will involve assessment of the following:

- Learning and memory
- Executive functioning e.g. problem solving, planning, impulse control, and organization
