Child & Adolescent Therapy
We work collaboratively with families to recognize their strengths and face their challenges. We often work directly with children’s schools, pediatricians, and others to coordinate care in the settings where children live. Our clinicians have expertise with hildren and adolescents across the spectrum of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.
We offer treatment to children and adolescents, both individually and within the context of family, for a fill range of concerns including:
- Depression
- Anxiety and trauma
- Learning and school difficulties
- Behavioral disorders
- Attention and concentration concerns
- Reactions to divorce
- Family conflict
- Developmental delays
- Adoption and attachment issues
- Chronic medical conditions
- Parental guidance
We use a variety of approaches including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, play therapy, and EMDR. Each professional explores with the family what kinds of services fit best.
