Rosha Hebsur, Psy.D.

Rosha Hebsur is a fully licensed clinical psychologist. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Ohio State University. Dr. Hebsur completed her internship at the Springfield Hospital Center in Jessup, MD. She worked at the Center for Eating Disorders in Ann Arbor prior to becoming an affiliate at the Ann Arbor Center for the Family.

 

Dr. Hebsur has a general practice that includes adolescents, adults, and families. She uses an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from aspects of cognitive-behavioral, family systems, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based work. Dr. Hebsur’s approach to treatment is based on a collaborative and open therapeutic relationship with clients and their loved ones to best support and promote their health and well-being.

 

Dr. Hebsur’s special interests including working with people of color, particularly those with marginalized intersecting identities.  She strives to understand the impact racism, microaggressions and systems of oppression have on the mental health and functioning of disenfranchised people.

 

Dr. Hebsur also has a special interest working with individuals with eating disorders. She understands the devastating impact an eating disorder can have on a family and can help facilitate the recovery process. She frequently works with a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and nutritionists..

 

Dr. Hebsur also works with those struggling with depression, anxiety, and traumatic experiences..

 

Dr. Hebsur participates with BCBS PPO and BCBS Traditional. A sliding scale will be considered on an individual basis.
