Emily Abbenante-Honold, Ph.D.
Emily Abbenante-Honold is a fully licensed psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She approaches psychotherapy from an integrated perspective, using aspects of cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, family systems, and mindfulness based approaches in her work. One of her primary interests is in constructing a treatment process that is tailored to each individual or family. She appreciates collaboration with and feedback from clients and frequently operates as a part of a larger treatment team that includes physicians, teachers, and other professionals.
Dr. Abbenante-Honold has special interests in helping adults navigate life transitions through values analysis and values-based living, coaching parents of young children, and supporting young adults through the transition to college and/or the workforce. Dr. Abbenante-Honold maintains a general practice working with individuals across the lifespan who experience depression, anxiety, phobias, relationship challenges, sexual assault, and other forms of trauma.
Dr. Abbenante-Honold participates with BCBS PPO, BCBS Traditional, and Blue Care Network (BCN).
