Jenna Jaworowicz, LMSW
Jenna Jaworowicz is a fully licensed clinical social worker. She has a general practice providing adult psychotherapy. Ms. Jaworowicz works with a variety of therapeutic issues, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, adjustment to life transitions, relationship challenges, and substance abuse.
Ms. Jaworowicz approaches psychotherapy with a high importance placed upon building and maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance, and utilizing a collaborative approach to tailor treatment to the needs of the individual. Her integrative treatment approach draws upon psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and narrative models. Ms. Jaworowicz has a special interest in supporting young adults as they navigate a variety of challenges often associated with young adulthood.
Ms. Jaworowicz is an avid practitioner of yoga and has earned her 200-hour certificate in yoga teacher training. On an as requested basis, Ms. Jaworowicz has found that many clients may benefit from an incorporation of yoga practice alongside psychotherapy.
Ms. Jaworowicz earned her masters in social work from Loyola University Chicago. While in Chicago, Ms. Jaworowicz interned at Presence Behavioral Health treating men and women with substance use disorders. Prior to becoming an affiliate with Ann Arbor Center for the Family, Ms. Jaworowicz helped to spearhead an intensive outpatient program serving women struggling with both substance use and post-traumatic stress disorders. Ms. Jaworowicz continues to take interest in working with individuals with substance use disorders and those curious about exploring their patterns of substance use.
Ms. Jaworowicz participates with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and can provide documentation for her clients as an out-of-network provider for other insurance companies.
