Private Practice Opportunities

(Updated May 2024)

Ann Arbor Center for the Family is recruiting a fully licensed psychologist or clinical social worker. This is a unique private practice opportunity in an enriching, collaborative group setting. Affiliates at AACF have independent practices but also participate in group self-governance and work closely with other affiliates. Ideal candidates would want the best of both worlds: the autonomy of private practice and the opportunity to engage in regular case consultation and professional development. Clinicians have the opportunity to create their own fee-for-service practices which could include evaluation, psychotherapy, consultation, supervision, and/or training, with the benefits of a collegial setting, a strong referral base, an excellent community reputation, and clerical/billing staff.

  • Training and experience working with children and adolescents is strongly preferred but all qualified applicants will be fully considered
  • Seeking clinicians open to conceptualizing cases within multiple systems.
  • Psychologists must be fully licensed with a preference for at least 1-2 years clinical experience post full licensure.

Social workers must be fully licensed with a preference for at least 4-5 years clinical experience post full licensure.
Ann Arbor Center for the Family may be the best fit for a young-career professional, an individual relocating to the area and looking for additional support and referrals, or a local professional who wants a cohesive professional community. AACF serves a diverse group of clients, and we value and welcome diversity amongst our affiliates.
