CLIENT INFORMATION GUIDE Affiliates include professionals from social work, psychology, and psychiatry who share a family systems approach to their work. Each professional provides direct treatment services for individuals, couples, and families with children. A primary aim of the Ann Arbor Center for the Family is to create a center which maximizes the opportunity for support, creative collaboration, and continuing information exchange among its affiliates. However, the responsibility for the treatment services provided rests solely with the professional. LOCATION Our offices are at 2300 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our building is just north of the intersection of Washtenaw Ave. and Stadium, on the west side of Washtenaw. (Map to the Center)We have ample parking behind the building. Initially, you should come in the main entrance on the upper level. If the door is locked, please push the buzzer beside the therapist's name and they will buzz you in. APPOINTMENTS Appointments are made by the therapists. If twenty-four hours notice of canceling an appointment is not given, a cancellation charge may be made. FEES Each therapist makes arrangements for the fee, payment procedures, and insurance coverage matters. None of the therapists participate with Care Choices, MCare, HAP, PPOM, or other HMO type insurance plans. A sliding fee scale is available.
